These systems provide power, voice and data in a single integrated system. The zone wiring approach of these systems provide improved cable management, greater flexibility and the cost and quality efficiencies of a factory-built system. Cable management is also significantly improved through the use of multi-conductor power and communication cables, eliminating individual home-run cabling. Cables are routed from power and communication closets to Zone Distribution Boxes. Telecommunications connections for the zone are simply a matter of plugging in the appropriate prefabricated modular cable assemblies. |

Providing connectivity in this manner not only improves upfront implementation but downstream lifecycle cost as well. In addition, the modular prefabricated system significantly reduces installation time. Instead of custom building from components on site, the system is simply unpacked and laid in place. Relocations are also greatly simplified. Just unplug, reconfigure and plug. This approach allows all but the most major renovations to be handled by in-house staff. |
